The 1st Amendment to the United States Constitution prohibits the government from obstructing individual freedoms such as: freedom of religion, freedom of speech, your right to petition, and your freedom of assembly. Therefore, all actions to limit people from gathering together in whatever number and wherever they may choose are specifically prohibited by the Constitution, (the Supreme Law of the Land).
My Right to Keep & Bear Arms
The 2nd Amendment protects the right of individual to keep and bear arms – PERIOD.
“A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.” This is not for hunting or self defense, this Amendment is here to protect the 1st and the 5th. The Militia is not the Military – it is YOU, the Citizen, the Patriot.
My Right to Keep My Business Open
Is protected under The 5th Amendment, which prohibits government from depriving a person of his property without due process of law. All pronouncements by any state governor forcing certain types of businesses to close are NOT conducted in anything resembling due process and therefore, these actions are specifically prohibited by the Constitution, (the Supreme Law of the Land).
If officers persist to threaten or violate your Civil Liberties as described above, put them on notice with the following from Cornell Law School
18 U.S. Code § 241 – Conspiracy Against Rights
“If two or more persons conspire to injure, oppress, threaten, or intimidate any person in any State, Territory, Commonwealth, Possession, or District in the free exercise or enjoyment of any right or privilege secured to him by the Constitution or laws of the United States, or because of his having so exercised the same; or If two or more persons go in disguise on the highway, or on the premises of another, with intent to prevent or hinder his free exercise or enjoyment of any right or privilege so secured – They shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than ten years, or both; and if death results from the acts committed in violation of this section or if such acts include kidnapping or an attempt to kidnap, aggravated sexual abuse or an attempt to commit aggravated sexual abuse, or an attempt to kill, they shall be fined under this title or imprisoned for any term of years or for life, or both, or may be sentenced to death.”
Keep this document with you at all times so that if you are ever stopped or harassed by two or more police officers for a duration beyond what you feel to be reasonable, (or if you feel you are being intimidated or under duress to comply with their unreasonable request), you can put them On Notice. Respectfully read the above underlined portion of the Title 18 U.S Code out loud to them to remind them of their position and then provide them a copy of this document. Be sure to also record their name and badge numbers for they can each be sued, and held accountable in violation of your rights as described above.
